Through his work with FACT Magazine and The Vinyl Factory, Jesse has documented the creative processes of some of the world’s most gifted artists and musicians.

In 2018, Jesse co-founded Soul Magic Productions with his partner Alisa ‘Oko’ Okamoto, a production company that specializes in dance and music videos. Since then, Jesse has developed a passion for stylistic experimentation and honed his skills at choreographing camera movements to complement the action playing out on the other side of the lens.

Through his work onset as a 1st and 2nd assistant director, production coordinator and producer, Jesse has learned to anticipate the needs of various departments, which informs his work both as a leader and a teammate with crews operating on tight deadlines and in challenging conditions at any budget.

He is also developing multiple feature film projects including the upcoming documentary The Trash Goes Out on Tuesday.

Jesse is relentlessly curious and values filmmaking both as a way of making sense of a complicated world and as a universal language that can transcend any barrier, divide, or limiting belief.
